WoW Forever opens Wednesday, November 4 at 3 p.m. Pacific / 6 p.m. Eastern. Blizzard's October 29 launch post confirms a simultaneous worldwide start, so some regions will be logging in on Thursday.

When can I log in?

Region Local launch time
US Pacific November 4, 3 p.m. PST
US Eastern November 4, 6 p.m. EST
UK November 4, 11 p.m. GMT
Central Europe November 5, midnight CET
Taiwan November 5, 7 a.m. CST
Korea November 5, 8 a.m. KST
Sydney November 5, 10 a.m. AEDT

Before launch night

Install World of Warcraft: Forever from Battle.net's Game Version menu and check that you're using the right WoW account. An active subscription or Game Time covers access; playing a Skyborne requires the Heroic Pack or higher. Blizzard's returning-player guide also has account-recovery and setup links if it's been a while.

Get your group to agree on a faction and ruleset before anyone makes a character. Our name reservation and ruleset rundown covers the choices and the November 3 reservation deadline.

Raids open December 9

There's a five-week gap between launch and the first raids. Blizzard's raid overview lists three, all for level 60:

Raid Group size
Barrow Deeps 10 players
Hyjal Summit 20 players
Onyxia's Lair 40 players

Onyxia still needs attunement. Everyone must have the Drakefire Amulet in their bags to enter, so leave time for that quest chain if she's on your group's list.
